The Construction Supervisor will :
- Lead, monitor, and control all on-site mechanical equipment installation and piping construction activities to ensure operations finish safely, on schedule, within budget, and in strict compliance with engineering drawings, technical specifications, and international codes.
- Assign daily tasks to pipefitters, welders, and mechanical technicians while interpreting isometric drawings, P&Ids.
- Work out the most efficient installation steps for pipes and heavy equipment, monitor mechanical subcontractors, and identify design clashes early to coordinate fixes with engineering.
- Implement zero-tolerance rules for unsafe work practices, conduct daily tool-box talks, and verify all Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and Permits to Work (PTW) are live.
- Check gas cylinders daily, while monitoring welding parameters, pre-heating, and post-weld heat treatments (PWHT).
- Check the leveling and alignment of static and rotating mechanical equipment, witness non-destructive testing (NDT), and sign off on final hydro-testing packages.
- Verify incoming pipes, valves, and equipment match material certificates, track actual daily physical progress against the schedule, and request materials ahead of time.
- Record field modifications accurately for "as-built" drawings, deliver clear daily and weekly progress reports, and maintain zero Lost Time Injuries (LTIs).
- Participate in PSSR, Punch list and MCC close out
Qualification / Requirements:
- Diploma / HND/ B.Tech in: Mechanical Engineering, Welding & Fabrication Technology, Or related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years relevant construction experience in oil & gas, fabrication, maintenance, EPCIC, or industrial projects.
- Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven experience in: Equipment/Piping installation, Welding operations, Offshore/onshore maintenance, Shutdown execution, Brownfield projects.
