Description




  • Responsible for managing and coordinating construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.



Key Responsibilities




  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily construction activities and site operations.

  • Manage Site Engineers, Supervisors, Foremen, subcontractors, and other site personnel.

  • Monitor project progress and ensure activities meet approved schedules and milestones.

  • Ensure construction works comply with drawings, specifications, quality standards, and approved methodologies.

  • Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to maintain efficient site operations.

  • Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical, operational, and construction issues.

  • Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.

  • Monitor workmanship and coordinate inspections, testing, snagging, and corrective works.

  • Liaise with the Project Manager, consultants, clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

  • Prepare progress reports and communicate project risks, delays, and resource requirements.

  • Monitor costs, minimise wastage, and ensure efficient use of resources.

  • Coordinate project completion, testing, snagging, documentation, and handover.



Qualifications & Experience




  • Bachelor's Degree / HND in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Technology, or a related field.

  • 8–12 years of relevant construction experience, including experience in a senior site management role.

  • Proven experience managing construction teams, subcontractors, schedules, and multiple work fronts.

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, quality standards, and HSE requirements.

  • Good leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
