- The IT Support Adviser is responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems, ensuring seamless operations across office and field environments.
- This role involves resolving hardware and software issues, supporting network infrastructure, managing IT service requests, and ensuring compliance with IT security policies.
- The IT Support Adviser plays a key role in maintaining high system availability, cybersecurity protection, and IT user efficiency.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or helpdesk roles, preferably in the oil & gas, energy, or industrial sector.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems.
- Experience with network troubleshooting, hardware/software support, and cybersecurity practices.
- Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) tools, Active Directory, Office 365, and enterprise applications.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Core IT Support & Troubleshooting Certifications
- Networking & Cloud Support Certifications
- Cybersecurity & IT Compliance Certifications
- Enterprise Software & Industrial IT Certifications
- Industrial IT & SCADA System Support Certifications (Optional but valuable in gas processing plants.
