Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Personnel to manage the purchasing of goods and services for the hotel.


• The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining accurate procurement records.


• This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth operation of hotel departments by providing quality supplies at the best value.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and source reliable suppliers for food, beverages, equipment, linens, cleaning materials, and other hotel supplies.


• Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms of purchase to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.


• Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.


• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and inventory reports.


• Work closely with department heads (kitchen, housekeeping, front office, etc.) to forecast and fulfill supply needs.


• Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.


• Inspect delivered goods for quality, accuracy, and compliance with hotel standards.


• Ensure all procurement activities comply with the hotel’s financial and operational policies.


• Report on market trends, supplier performance, and procurement challenges to management.

Qualifications & Skills

• OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.


• Previous experience in procurement, preferably in the hospitality industry.


• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.


• Good knowledge of supply chain and inventory management principles.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.


• Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
