Job Purpose




  • The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities for AIM Consultants Ltd., developing strategic client relationships, and growing the company's project pipeline across its engineering, architecture, project management, and consultancy services.



Key Responsibilities




  • Develop and implement business development strategies in line with AIM's business objectives.

  • Identify upcoming projects and business opportunities across government, private-sector, infrastructure, real estate, energy, industrial, and other relevant sectors.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, government agencies, developers, contractors, and other key stakeholders.

  • Conduct regular client visits, meetings, presentations, and follow-ups to develop business opportunities.

  • Monitor tenders, EOIs, RFPs, RFQs, and other consultancy opportunities relevant to AIM.

  • Coordinate with the technical and management teams on proposals, tenders, and client requirements.

  • Maintain and regularly update the business development pipeline, including prospective clients, projects, opportunities, and outcomes.

  • Represent AIM at relevant industry events, meetings, networking sessions, and other business development activities.

  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities, opportunities, pipeline, and projects secured.

  • Track opportunities from initial identification through to proposal, negotiation, award, and handover.

  • Support management in developing strategic partnerships and expanding AIM's market presence.



Qualifications & Experience




  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in business development, client relationship management, or a related role.

  • Experience in an engineering, construction, infrastructure, architecture, Oil & Gas environment is preferred.

  • Proven experience in identifying business opportunities and securing projects.

  • Experience with tenders, proposals, EOIs, and RFPs is an advantage.
