Role Summary
The HR Manager will be responsible for managing the company’s human resources function, with a strong focus on sourcing, recruiting, and managing skilled technology professionals.
The role requires a good understanding of the technology talent market and the ability to recruit developers, software engineers, project managers, business analysts, QA/test engineers, DevOps engineers, technical support personnel, and other specialist IT resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for technical and non-technical positions.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline/database of technology professionals for current and future requirements.
- Understand technical job requirements and work with hiring managers to develop accurate job descriptions and candidate profiles.
- Screen candidates, coordinate technical assessments and interviews, conduct reference checks, and manage employment offers.
- Support rapid sourcing of IT resources for client projects, outsourcing engagements, and short- or long-term deployments.
- Maintain relationships with recruitment agencies, technology communities, training institutions, and other talent sources.
- Manage employee onboarding, documentation, performance management, leave, employee relations, and offboarding.
- Maintain HR records, employment contracts, policies, and compliance documentation.
- Monitor recruitment KPIs including time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, candidate quality, retention, and resource availability.
- Support workforce planning and ensure that suitable resources can be identified quickly as new projects and client requirements arise.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4–6 years' HR/recruitment experience, preferably with significant exposure to technology recruitment.
- Demonstrated experience recruiting software developers, engineers, project managers, QA/testers, business analysts, DevOps/cloud professionals, and other IT specialists.
- Strong knowledge of LinkedIn sourcing, job boards, applicant tracking systems, and candidate databases.
- Ability to understand technical roles, skill sets, technology stacks, and project resource requirements.
- Strong interviewing, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience with IT outsourcing, consulting, telecommunications, fintech, or technology services would be an advantage.
