- The successful candidate will identifyand securebusiness opportunities in procurement, ICT, training, consulting, and related projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Source government, corporate, NGO, and institutional contracts, including procurement, supply, ICT, training, and capacity-buildingopportunities.
- Identify opportunities for procurement and supply contracts, ICT projects, training and capacity-building programmes.
- Monitor tender notices, requests for proposals,expressions of interest,and other relevant business opportunities.
- Prepare, coordinate, and submit proposals, bids, EOIs, quotations, and other required documents.
- Liaise with clients, procurement officers, consultants, and relevant stakeholders regarding submitted proposals.
- Follow up on submitted bids and proposals through evaluation, negotiation, award, and final closure.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
- Maintain accuraterecords of opportunities, submitted proposals, follow-ups, leads, marketing activities, and business development progress.
- Prepare periodic reports on marketing activities, opportunities, and business development progress.
- Perform other administrative and business development duties as may be assigned by management.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of HND or B.Sc.in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Procurement, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in marketing, business development, contract sourcing, tendering, and proposal preparation.
- Knowledgeof government procurementand tender processes is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, networking, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to identify opportunities and convert leads into business.
- Strong writing and proposal preparation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
- Must be target-driven, organized, persistent, and able to work independently.
