  • We are Seeking for a Payroll Administrator – External Projects who will be responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely and compliant processing of payroll for external client projects, including crew and outsourced personnel.

  • The role involves validating payroll inputs, processing salaries and benefits, managing statutory deductions, reconciling payroll transactions, maintaining employment and payroll documentation, and resolving payroll-related queries.

  • The position will also work closely with clients, project teams, Finance and HR to ensure payroll obligations are delivered within agreed timelines and in compliance with company policies, contractual requirements and applicable regulations.



Key Responsibilities




  • Prepare and process monthly payroll for assigned external projects.

  • Review and validate salaries, allowances, overtime, bonuses, deductions, joiners, leavers and other payroll adjustments.

  • Prepare payroll reports, payment schedules and reconciliations.

  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies before payroll closure.

  • Manage crew employment contracts and payroll-related documentation.

  • Administer employee benefits and compensation-related matters.

  • Prepare schedules for statutory deductions, including PAYE, Pension, NHF, ITF and NSITF, and support statutory compliance.

  • Liaise with clients, project teams, Finance and relevant stakeholders to resolve payroll matters.

  • Maintain accurate, confidential and audit-ready payroll records.

  • Support payroll controls, audits and continuous process improvement.



Requirements




  • Bachelor's Degree / HND in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources or a related discipline.

  • 3–5 years' relevant payroll administration experience, preferably within Oil & Gas, Maritime, Crewing, Outsourcing, project-based or multinational environments.

  • Good knowledge of Nigerian payroll practices and statutory requirements.

  • Experience managing payroll for multiple employees/projects, including compensation, benefits and reconciliations.

  • Strong numerical, analytical and reconciliation skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality and integrity.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll/HRIS systems.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and deliver accurately under tight payroll deadlines.
