Job Description

About the Job

  • They are seeking a Sales / E-Commerce Officer responsible for driving revenue growth and increasing brand visibility by promoting solar energy solutions to residential, commercial, and industrial clients.

  • The role combines direct sales and e-commerce activities with marketing initiatives to generate leads, expand market share, strengthen customer relationships, and increase online and offline sales.

Responsibilities

  • Market research: Analyse industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategy.

  • Marketing campaigns: Develop and execute promotional activities (digital, print, events) to increase brand awareness.

  • Product presentations: Deliver compelling demonstrations and proposals to prospective clients.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with technical teams to align customer requirements with installation capabilities.

  • Reporting: Provide weekly and monthly reports on sales performance, pipeline, and marketing outcomes.

  • Lead Generation: Identify prospects through referrals, partnerships, and digital campaigns.

  • Customer Engagement: Educate clients on solar benefits (cost savings, sustainability, reliability).

  • Proposal Development: Create tailored quotations and ROI-focused presentations.

  • Negotiation & Closing: Secure contracts with clear terms and financing options.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships for repeat business and referrals.

  • Collaboration with Technical Teams: Work closely with technical teams to align customer requirements with installation capabilities.

  • Reporting & KPI Tracking: Monitor revenue, conversion rates, and pipeline progress.

  • Digital Campaigns: Run targeted ads (Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn) to boost visibility.

  • Content Creation: Develop blogs, videos, and social media posts showcasing solar solutions.

  • SEO & Website Optimization: Improve search rankings and drive organic traffic.

  • Email Marketing: Nurture leads with newsletters, promotions, and educational content.

  • Social Media Engagement: Build community trust and brand loyalty through interactive posts.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.

  • Have 2–3 years of proven sales experience in a B2B or B2C environment, with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding targets. Experience in solar, power, FMCG, financial services or any field-sales-heavy industry is a strong plus.

  • Have built and managed a sales team or agent network before — or can clearly demonstrate the recruiting, coaching and people-management instincts required to build one quickly.

  • Communicate exceptionally well, both verbally and in writing. You listen actively, present confidently, and adjust your style to suit a homeowner, an SME owner or a corporate procurement manager.

  • Are self-motivated, target-driven and resilient. You handle rejection without losing momentum and find energy in hitting and exceeding quotas.

  • Are comfortable with field work in Lagos, including site visits, customer meetings and managing agents on the ground.

  • Have strong CRM hygiene and a respect for data — you'd rather log a call now than forget the details later.

Why Join Our Client?

  • Salary: N120,000 monthly.

  • Be part of a forward-thinking renewable energy company transforming power access across Nigeria.

  • Work in a culture that values innovation, collaboration, and sustainability.

  • Enjoy continuous learning opportunities and professional development.

  • Gain hands-on experience with impactful projects that promote clean energy solutions.

  • Build a meaningful career while contributing to a greener, more sustainable future.
