Summary

• We are seeking an experienced IT Technician to provide technical support and manage the organisation’s IT systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and troubleshoot computers, software and IT equipment


• Provide technical support to staff, students and management


• Maintain network, internet connectivity and communication systems


• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues


• Manage user accounts, access permissions and system security


• Support printers, scanners, projectors, CCTV and other IT equipment


• Perform system updates, backups and security patches


• Maintain IT asset records and technical documentation


• Assist with IT projects and implementation of new technologies.

Requirements

• HND / BSc Degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or a related field


• 3–5 years’ relevant IT experience


• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills


• Experience in network administration and systems maintenance


• Good communication skills


• Maritime, Marine or Educational Institution experience is an added advantage


• IT certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA A+, Network+ or MCP are an added advantage


• Must be resident in Delta State.
