  • Responsible for generating and processing transactions.

  • Bank statement reconciliation

  • Handles general accounts queries.

  • General ledger reconciliations

  • Premium receipting and management of trade receivables.

  • Arranges payment of bills and accounts.

  • Keeps records of financial transactions.


Key Result Areas

Payment Processing:



  • Arranges payment of bills and accounts.

  • Checks the amounts to be paid and received by the business.

  • Compares costs with budgets.


Account Processing:



  • Handles general accounts queries.

  • Responsible for transaction processing.

  • Checks account order forms and receipts are filled in correctly.


Personal Effectiveness:



  • Accountable for service delivery through own efforts.

  • Individually accountable for managing own time, tasks and output quality over periods of 1 day to a maximum of three months.

  • Makes increased contributions by broadening individual skills.

  • Collaborates effectively with others to achieve personal results.

  • Accepts and lives the company values.


Record Keeping:



  • Keeps records of financial transactions.


Qualifications and Experience



  • A First Degree in a related field or its equivalent.

  • 1 -2 Years’ experience in a finance role.
