Location: Ilorin, Kwara
Job Description
- Compiling, analyzingand reporting financial data.
- Recording daily revenue, daily expenditure and other financial data.
- Creating periodic reports such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.
- Presenting data to managers, investors and other entities as required.
- Maintaining accurate financial records.
- Performing audits and resolving discrepancies.
- Checking and reviewing the monthly payroll, contractual staff salaries andsalary slips to ensure accuracy.
- Carryingout monthly variance analysis, correcting and reporting same.
- Carrying out accounting activities in line with professional codes of practice, generally accepted accounting principles and standards and service level agreements.
- Recording and filingwithholding tax, VAT and PAYE data.
- Preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
- Reconciling bank statements, cash accounts, accounts receivable and payable balances on a monthly basis.
- Maintaining awareness of current industry trends, technology, and developments.
- Carrying out assigned duties in an honest manner.
- Carrying out other duties as required.
Requirements
Educational Qualification:
- Minimum of a B.Sc. degree in Accounting.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Accountant.

- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Sound interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
- Great computer skills.
- High integrity and attention to detail.
- Sound numerical skills and strong level of accuracy.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Ability to work well with minimal or no supervision.
