- We are searching for an experienced and passionate leader to lead the Finance Team as the Finance and Accounts Manager. This a senior management position that reports directly to the Managing Director/CEO.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Finance and Accounts team, develop and update accounting policies and procedures
- Overseeing all accounting functions such as, account payables, receivables, general ledger coding function
- Financial reporting, asset, and payroll management.
- Overseeing monthly financial statements and year end FS close processes.
- Performing financial analysis:
- Monthly sales, gross profit analysis
- Produce statistical reports analyzing monthly operations results against budget figures
- Analyze financial forecast, ROI, and segmenting analysis
- Manage inventory integrity (stock count)
- Prepare retail reporting for annual auditing
- Cash Management:
- Management of cash flow on multiple Bank accounts
- POS réconciliations and dispute management
- Annual Budgets and quarterly Forecasts
- Regulatory compliance, Returns, and Tax (PAYE, VAT, and any other tax that may applies).
- Manage financial relationship with external partners (Banks, Insurance etc.)
Qualifications and Skills
- First Degree plus Professional accounting qualification such as ACA.
- Audit background an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years working experience as an accountant.
- Intermediate MS-office (Excel, Word) proficiency required.
- Leadership & management skill.
- Relationship and negotiation management skill.
- Data Analysis skills.
- Efficient Communication.
