Job Summary
The Finance Manager will oversee all the financial transactions of the organization. This also includes : Preparation and forecast of monthly budge,quarterly, and yearly budgets.
The Finance Manager will also be responsible for developing and managing comprehensive marketing and sales strategies for the organization to drive income for the organization and have good business acumen.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation of budget and Managing records and receipts
- Working with management to develop plans for future growth and profitability. This includes ensuring the organization has the resources they need to succeed,
- Ensuring that their company is meeting its financial goals through sales activities. This might include tracking revenue and profit margins over time, identifying areas where improvements can be made, and making recommendations on how to achieve these improvements.
- Meeting with other department to determine financing needs and educating them about available options
- Determining how much financing each department should receive based on their ability to generate profit
- Work with Sales on any overspend situations.
- Collaborate on customer, segment, and brand analysis to influence and formulate actionable business decisions.
- Coordinate all necessary activities for programs and revenue generating activities
- Work with Admin and Operations to coordinate for all programs.
- Developing in-depth knowledge of company products.
- Maintaining an accurate record of all sales, scheduled customer appointments, and customer complaints.
- Collaborating with the marketing department to ensure that the company is reaching its target audience.
- Developing and sustaining lost lasting relationships with customers
- Other duties as required by the CEO.
General
- Work hand in hand with the CEO to develop plans for Welcome2Africa International.
- Ensure Welcome2Africa International meets the forecasted profit outlined and agreed by the CEO and Board.
- Evaluating the performance of the organization’s current assets and identifying areas that could be improved
- General project management and trade facilitation efforts required
- Any other tasks assigned by my supervisor.
Job Specification
Academic Qualification and skill
- Minimum requirement of BSC/HND degree in Business Administration/Management,
- Accounting, Finance, Marketing or any other relevant discipline from a reputable institution.
- An MBA or Master’s degree in any business related discipline is an added advantage
- Ability to manage people effectively and efficiently
- Budgeting and forecasting skill
- Data Analysis
- Financial Planning
- Good business Acumen
Professional Qualification
- Any Relevant professional certifications from a reputable professional institution
Experience
- Minimum of four (4) years’ postgraduation experience in
- Accounting and Finance, Budget and Audit.
