The Ideal professional is responsible for performing all aspects of financial management, financial planning, corporate accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, reviewing financial documents to ensure tax-compliance and collaboration with all aspects of the business to achieve the organization's monetary goals.
Key Responsibilities
Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends and assessing the financial health of the company.
Develop and provide timely, accurate, and appropriate financial statements and reports.
Create and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, tax management, accounts payable and receivable, credit controls, and petty cash.
Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliation, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards.
Budgeting and financial forecasting.
Advise on investment activities and provide strategies.
Preparation of CBN returns.
Other responsibilities assigned by the CFO and/or supervising personnel.
Job Requirements
Minimum B.Sc in Accounting or related courses
5 - 7 years of experience in a Microfinance bank will be preferred.
Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, ICAN) is required.
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analytics.
