Job Description



Our client in the renewable energy engineering industry is seeking to hire an experienced, proactive, and analytical Finance Officer to fill the position below:


Duties



  • Process all financial transactions to enable accurate financial reporting and monitoring Record accounts payable and accounts receivable

  • Prepare reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts monthly

  • Prepare financial management reports monthly and provide information to the management for decision making

  • Update internal systems with financial data

  • Reconcile bank statements

  • Prepare budget

  • Maintain and manage achieving of financial documents to safeguard financial records and audit

  • Manage of filing system

  • Ensure/ Enforce compliance to credit control measures

  • Be rresponsible for budget preparation and management as per cash flow projection and in compliance with finance and procurement guidelines

  • Monitor and maintain inventory and stock ledgers

  • Compute PAYE, VAT taxes and render returns

  • Prepare monthly payroll

  • Participate in financial audits

  • Review and implement financial policies

  • Submit weekly report to management.


Qualifications & Experience



  • B.Sc. or HND in Finance / Accounting

  • 5 years of experience in accounting & finance

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)

  • Professional certification in Accounting (ACA, ACCA).

  • Good knowledge and understanding of accounting best practices.

  • Completed the mandatory NYSC program

  • Preferred Candidate Location: Ikeja and it’s environs.


Remuneration



  • Salary: N100,000.00 - 150,000.00 per month

  • Other benefits: Pension, NSITF
