Job Description
Our Client in the Retail Industry requires a Finance Officer to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Handling of statutory payment remittances: VAT, WHT, P.A.Y.E,
- Weekly and Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts
- Posting payment vouchers
- Listing and posting of fixed assets and asset register management
- Petty Cash Reimbursement and disbursement
- Handling of sales pick-up, documentation and lodgement
- Management of fund flow weekly updates
- Manage general ledger and sub-ledger reconciliation
- Update internal systems with financial data
- Participate in financial audits
- Track bank deposits and payments
- Assist with budget preparation
- Review and implement financial policies
Requirements
- First Degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance or other related with 2-5 years’ work experience as a Finance Officer or similar role.
- Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Knowledge of financial regulations
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Sharp time management skills
- Good communication skills
