We are looking for a Finance/ Administrative Assistant to provide support service to the Finance/Admin department so as to ensure that the firm operates at an optimum.
The candidate is expected to perform the below: -
- Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
- Create and update expense reports
- Process reimbursement forms
- Prepare bank deposits
- Maintain digital and physical financial records
- Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed
- Providing support to the Accounting Department.
- Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, etc.
- Processing transactions, issuing checks, and updating ledgers etc.
- Assisting with bank reconciliation, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies.
- Handle and execute day to day admin duties
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate must possess the following competencies and skills:
- Competencies and/or knowledge required:
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
- Familiarity with finance regulations
- Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
- Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
- Organization skills
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
- Proficiency with computers and bookkeeping software, strong typing skills.
- Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles.
- Professional manner and a strong ethical code.
- Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
- Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- HND or BSC preferably in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
