Job Description


We are looking for a Finance/ Administrative Assistant to provide support service to the Finance/Admin department so as to ensure that the firm operates at an optimum.

The candidate is expected to perform the below: -



  • Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies

  • Create and update expense reports

  • Process reimbursement forms

  • Prepare bank deposits

  • Maintain digital and physical financial records

  • Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed

  • Providing support to the Accounting Department.

  • Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, etc.

  • Processing transactions, issuing checks, and updating ledgers etc.

  • Assisting with bank reconciliation, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies.

  • Handle and execute day to day admin duties


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate must possess the following competencies and skills:



  • Competencies and/or knowledge required: 

  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures

  • Familiarity with finance regulations

  • Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors

  • Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)

  • Organization skills

  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information

  • Proficiency with computers and bookkeeping software, strong typing skills.

  • Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills.

  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles.

  • Professional manner and a strong ethical code.

  • Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.

  • Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.


EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS



  • HND or BSC preferably in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
