About the job

• We are looking for a highly skilled IT Expert with deep knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, virtual machines, ISO 27001 implementation, networking, firewalls, Active Directory, storage management, and backup to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux operating systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.


• Deploy, configure, and manage virtual machines in various environments using VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization platforms.


• Implement, maintain, and audit ISO 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS) to ensure compliance and protect sensitive company data.


• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices.


• Implement and manage enterprise-wide Active Directory services, including user and group management, Group Policy, and access control.


• Develop and maintain comprehensive storage management strategies, including storage area networks (SAN), network-attached storage (NAS), and direct-attached storage (DAS).


• Design and implement backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability.


• Collaborate with IT team members and other departments to identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues.


• Research, recommend, and implement new technologies and best practices to improve efficiency and security.


• Create and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and guidelines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT, with a focus on Windows and Linux operating systems, virtual machines, ISO 27001 implementation, networking, firewalls, Active Directory, storage management, and backup.


• Strong understanding of information security principles and best practices.


• In-depth knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization platforms.


• Proficient in networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN.


• Familiarity with various firewall technologies and security appliances, such as Cisco, Palo Alto, and Fortinet.


• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.


• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.


• Relevant certifications, such as MCSE, CCNA, CISSP, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, are preferred but not required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


• 7+ years of hands-on experience in IT, with a focus on Windows and Linux operating systems, virtual machines, ISO 27001 implementation, networking, firewalls, Active Directory, storage management, and backup.


• Relevant certifications, such as MCSE, CCNA, CISSP, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, are highly desired.


• Proven experience in designing and implementing complex IT infrastructure projects.


• Expertise in cloud computing technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.


• Familiarity with scripting and automation tools, such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.


• Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.


• Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.


• Strong project management skills and experience in leading cross-functional teams.


• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience in presenting technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.


• Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
