The role entails being responsible for managing the day-to-day cash flow of the organisation including making invoices, maintaining records of transactions, monitoring expenses, and providing reports to the management for financial analysis.
Job Description
- Maintain records of vouchers, invoices, payments, etc
- Handling day-to-day accounting
- Preparing invoices and following up for pending payments
- Handling all banking related works
- Preparing profit and loss statements
- Finalizing accounts, assisting in audits, maintaining ledger, maintaining account of fixed assets, and conducting all other accounting activities
- Handling petty cash
- Ensuring compliance with accounting and tax laws
- Ensure all statutory payment are made on time e.g., LIRS, FIRS, and pension
Qualification / Skills Required
- Must have a degree in accounting. ICAN foundation stage will be an added advantage.
- Must be in between the age of 22 to 26 years. Must have good communication skills and very good in using excel
