As a Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:
- Work with colleagues across PwC to sell and deliver business-led, technology enabled projects to fulfill client needs for Finance Consulting services
- Participate in and lead proposal development and submission and other business development initiatives
- Facilitate workshops with key stakeholders to drive solution design
- Lead teams in the delivery of Finance Advisory engagements, including finance transformation, enterprise performance management, finance function effectiveness, financial planning and capacity building.
- Support the engagement senior manager, director / partner in managing engagement risk and project economics
- Prepare, review and ensure engagement deliverables meet PwC and client quality expectations
- Perform role of coach and actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities.
Preferred skills
- Masters in Business Administration or MSc in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Economics, Engineering or in related field
- First degree with a minimum of 2.1
- ACA, ACCA, CFA
- Financial Services or Telecommunication Industry experience would be an advantage
- Strong financial modelling experience
- Experience in consulting or corporate finance with any of the leading professional service firms or investment banks.
- Strong accounting technical skills and knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Professional Finance experience is an asset (e.g. Financial reporting, FP&A, Reporting &Analytics)
- Understanding of financial applications (i.e. Consolidation and Business Intelligence tools)
- An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
- Demonstrated project management and coaching skills.
Minimum years experience required
- Up to 7 years’ work experience in the financial reporting, treasury, corporate finance, or investment analysis in a reputable organisation with at least 1 year in a managerial role.
