Responsibilities:


Strategic Leadership:



  • Develop and execute the firm's strategic plan, in alignment with the firm's mission and vision.

  • Drive business growth initiatives, identify new market opportunities, and develop strategies to expand the firm's client base.

  • Collaborate with other partners to establish and achieve the firm's financial and operational goals.


Operational Management:



  • Oversee the firm's day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient and effective workflows, and implementing best practices.

  • Manage and allocate resources, including personnel, technology, and finances, to optimize productivity and profitability.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, professional development, and employee engagement.


Client Relationship Management:



  • Maintain and strengthen existing client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.

  • Identify and pursue opportunities to attract new clients, establish strategic partnerships, and expand the firm's market presence.

  • Monitor client feedback, address concerns, and implement improvements to enhance client service delivery.


Financial Oversight:



  • Develop and manage the firm's annual budget, monitor financial performance, and make strategic decisions to maximize profitability.

  • Analyse financial reports, identify trends, and implement strategies to improve financial performance and mitigate risks.

  • Collaborate with partners to set billing rates, fee structures, and pricing policies, ensuring fair and competitive market positioning.

  • Legal Expertise and Compliance:

  • Maintain a strong understanding of relevant legal principles, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.

  • Provide legal guidance and support to attorneys within the firm, ensuring high-quality legal representation and compliance with ethical standards.

  • Stay abreast on changes in legislation and legal precedents, advising the firm on potential impacts and necessary adjustments.


Qualifications



  • LL.B degree from a reputable university.

  • Minimum of 12 years post call experience as a lawyer.

  • Active member of the bar

  • Proven track record of effective leadership or success in a senior management role.

  • Extensive experience in managing a legal practice, including financial management, business development, and client relationship management.

  • Strong leadership abilities, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, partners, and staff.

  • Business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to analyse complex situations and make informed decisions.

  • Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and promoting a culture of professionalism and integrity.
