Being in charge of the finance department's management of accounting systems, policies, and procedures in compliance with accounting standards, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Preparation of budgets of IHF, whether for the organization’s running and for every grant or proposal written by IHF.
Responsible for record of every payment, financial receipts, retirements and reports of IHF assets, liabilities, expenditure and other financial activities.
Implementing IHF donors’ rules on accounting systems and general bookkeeping while executing IHF programs and activities.
Reconciling daily, monthly and yearly transactions in IHF.
Developing an in-depth knowledge of IHF services and processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Having extra certification in accounting will be an advantage.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting.
Excellent knowledge of current accounting operating software systems
Knowledge of data management skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Suite such as Excel, Access, Ms Word and PowerPoint etc.

Ability to handle a large and dynamic workload, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
