Job Description
Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Review and verify student loan applications, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
- Verify student eligibility for loan programs based on established criteria.
- Prepare loan documents and contracts, adhering to federal and state regulations.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of financial aid policies and compliance requirements.
- Ensure the proper retention and safeguarding of confidential student financial information.
- Aid students with inquiries related to loan disbursements.
- Generate and maintain accurate records of loan transactions and disbursements.
- Assist in audits and compliance reviews as needed.
Qualifications & Skill Sets:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (recent graduates who have completed NYSC are encouraged to apply).
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software is a plus.
