Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for a Finance Manager.


• The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, managing risk, developing financial strategies, creating budgets, and providing expert advice on financial matters.


• The Finance Manager will also be responsible for supervising a team of financial professionals and ensuring compliance with regulations and auditing standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field


• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a financial institution


• ICAN or ACCA qualified


• Good Knowledge of IFRS 9, Management Accounting, Financial Planning, Monitoring and Performance Management.


• Expertise in financial modeling and data analysis tools


• Good knowledge of Credit Bureau and CBN regulatory reporting


• Thorough Knowledge of Financial Legislation, Regulation and Practices.


• Experience in managing a team and working with cross-functional teams


• Familiarity with accounting and auditing principles and regulations


• Experience in the financial industry or related field


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial software applications
