Job Description



Responsibilities:



  • An Associate will actively participate in including but not limited to Investment, Financial Advisory, Portfolio Management, and Foreign exchange businesses.

  • Synthesising firm data in support of the organisation’s marketing efforts, preparing collateral and presentation materials to facilitate communications with prospective limited partners

  • Originating and analysing investment pipelines

  • Participating in investor meetings as part of the capital-raising process and managing ongoing relationships

  • Responding to investor information requests and compiling necessary due diligence materials

  • Strategise with team members on growing the firm's cadre of investors

  • Development of financial models to value debt and equity for mergers, acquisitions, and capital- raising transactions.

  • Perform various valuation methodologies – comparable companies, precedents, and DCF.

  • Develop recommendations for product offerings, private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and valuations.

  • Conduct preparation and review of materials used in clients' financing, including investment memoranda, management presentations, and pitchbooks.

  • Develop relationships with new and existing clients to expand the business.

  • Perform due diligence research, analysis, and documentation of live transactions.

  • Create presentations for client portfolios.

  • Affinity for current events, critical issues, and relevant news


Qualifications:



  • Candidates should have broad-based analytical skills, superior capabilities in cash flow modeling, good research abilities, and outstanding communication skills.

  • A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for candidates concentrating on Economics, Finance, and accounting.

  • 2+ years of related experience with exposure to investment or investment banking

  • Robust financial analysis and modelling skills utilising Microsoft Excel

  • In-depth knowledge of all products within Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and effectively meet deadlines.

  • Team player who can work independently and under pressure in an entrepreneurial environment.

  • Outstanding attention to detail, accountability, integrity, and ethics.

  • A self-motivated, energetic, and positive individual with strong oral and written communication skills.
