The Finance Manager will play a key role in managing financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.
This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles, local regulatory requirements, and experience in the cybersecurity industry.
Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Generate regular financial reports for management, providing insights into the company's financial performance.
Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts.
Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax regulations, including VAT, corporate income tax, and other applicable taxes.
Prepare and submit accurate and timely tax returns.
Monitor and control costs associated with service delivery projects.
Work closely with project managers to analyze project costs and profitability.
Manage the invoicing process, ensuring accurate and timely billing to clients.
Verify invoice accuracy and resolve discrepancies with clients.
Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the organization's liquidity.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Prepare documentation and support external audits.
Collaborate with auditors to address audit queries and findings.
Oversee payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees.
Manage payroll tax compliance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or similar.
Proven experience as an accountant in the cybersecurity or technology industry.
In-depth knowledge of Nigerian accounting principles and tax regulations.

Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, etc.).
