Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced AC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems. The AC Technician will ensure that cooling systems operate efficiently and effectively to meet our customers' needs.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair various types of air conditioning systems.


• Perform regular maintenance of AC units, including cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, changing filters, and lubricating parts.


• Diagnose electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions in HVAC systems.


• Repair or replace defective components in AC units, including compressors, condensers, and evaporators.


• Calibrate thermostats and ensure proper functioning of system controls and safety devices.


• Conduct performance tests and resolve system issues to ensure optimal efficiency.


• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work.


• Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding their AC systems.


• Adhere to all safety and compliance standards and regulations.

Requirements

• BSC/HND in electrical engineering or related field


• Proven experience as an AC Technician or similar role.


• Technical knowledge of HVAC systems and their components.


• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing AC units.


• Understanding of electrical and refrigeration principles.


• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.


• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Excellent communication and customer service skills.


• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions.


• HVAC certification or relevant vocational training is a plus.
