Job Specifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB or JD) from an accredited institution.


• Active bar membership. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.


• Minimum of 11 years post-call experience in banking and finance law.


• Preferably in a reputable law firm or legal consulting environment.


• Demonstrated expertise in supporting financial transactions and providing legal advice in the banking and finance sector.

Legal Knowledge:

• In-depth knowledge of banking and finance laws, regulations, and industry practices.


• Familiarity with financial products, such as syndicated loans, derivatives, structured finance, and securitizations.


• Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide practical and strategic legal advice.


• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, conveying complex legal concepts to clients and stakeholders.


• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in legal documentation, analysis, and transactional support.


• Proven track record of handling complex legal matters, drafting contracts, and negotiating agreements in the banking and finance sector.
