Finance Officer at Alert Microfinance Bank is responsible for all financial aspects of a business or organization, prepare financial reports, and ensure that all financial transactions are conducted legally and ethically.
Job Description
Develops and maintains financial systems
Plans, directs, and controls accounting and financial operations
Prepares reports and documents covering accounting transactions for management review
Ensures that accurate records are kept by standard practices
Manages invoicing procedures to collect money owed by clients/customers
Requirements
Minimum of B.Sc or HND in Accounting and Finance related field.
Minimum of 2 - 3 years of Cognate experience as Finance Manager is a MUST.
Previous experience from Microfinance Banks and proficient use of Bankone and accounting software E.g Quickbooks, Peachtree, SAP is an additional advantage
Chartered membership of a relevant professional association, e.g. ACA, ICAN, ACCA. Is an additional advantage
Proficiency in Microsoft Office package, especially Excel and Word.
Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
Demonstrates ability to identify problems.
