Job Description

• Preparing of supporting schedules including fixed asset schedule, prepayment schedule and provisions schedule to support the preparation of financials.


• Weekly variance analysis of Opex GLs with a view to ensure timely resolution of key findings and monthly generation of variance analysis report.


• Preparing of monthly closing OPEX entries for the preparation of management statement.


• Participating in monthly preparation of balance sheet reconciliation statement to ensure compliance with IFRS accounting standards.


• Participating in preparing financial statements including statement of financial position and profit or loss.


• Ensuring that inter-company transactions are posted accurately and timely.


• Assisting with the preparation of monthly Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) report on a monthly.


• Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying and reporting financial transactions accurately.


• Monitor the monthly closure procedures and ensure compliance by all entities (parents and subsidiaries) and the elimination of intercompany balances and transactions for financial reporting purpose.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields with 5 - 7 years work experience.


• The candidates MUST have prior banking experience.
