JOB SUMMARY:


As a Finance Officer, you will play a critical role in managing the financial activities of the organization. You will be responsible for ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the company through effective financial planning, analysis, and reporting of financial management. 


RESPONSIBILITIES: 



  • Develop, review, and implement financial strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. 

  • Maintain accurate transaction records 

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial forecasts to guide the organization's financial planning. 

  • Preparation of regular financial reports, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards. 

  • Present financial reports, highlighting key insights and recommendations. 

  • Identify and assess financial risks, implementing strategies to mitigate potential challenges. 

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. 

  • Monitor and manage the organization's cash flow to optimize liquidity and working capital 

  • Evaluate and enhance financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. 

  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in financial management 


JOB SPECIFICATION: 



  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting 

  • MSc, MBA, or professional finance certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) 

  • 5-7 years of experience as a finance officer 

  • Fintech experience will be an added advantage 

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
