Job Summary:


We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance. Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead the development and execution of financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

  • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Manage cash flow and liquidity by forecasting cash needs and optimizing working capital.

  • Implement effective cash management strategies to support business operations.

  • Identify and assess financial risks, proposing mitigation strategies to safeguard the financial health of the organization.

  • Ensure compliance with risk management policies and procedures.

  • Establish and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial information.

  • Conduct regular audits to assess the effectiveness of financial controls.

  • Oversee tax planning and compliance activities, ensuring adherence to local and international tax regulations.

  • Coordinate with external tax advisors and authorities as needed.

  • Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Provide guidance and support to team members for professional development.

  • Evaluate and enhance financial systems, tools, and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

  • Implement best practices for financial operations.

  • Communicate financial performance, risks, and opportunities to key stakeholders, including senior management and board members.

  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.

  • Manage the external audit process, ensuring timely and accurate provision of required documentation.

  • Address audit findings and implement corrective actions.


Qualifications and Skills:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • ACA or ACCA certification is a must.

  • 5+ years of proven experience in a finance role, with a track record of successful financial leadership.

  • Agency banking experience is desired

  • Proficiency in Data Analysis, Excel, SAGE, Cost Analysis, Financial Reporting, PowerPoint Presentation
