Job Description



Responsibilities



  • Assist with daily finance operations including ensuring on-time disbursement of approved Loans.

  • Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation and settlement of financial transactions within the organization.

  • Responsible for key liquidity availability management functions. This includes cash forecasting and cash management processes, liquidity monitoring and funding strategies.

  • Analysis of short-term cash needs, providing forecast information and assistance to the Head of Finance regarding Term Deposits and maximizing interest revenue.

  • Work closely with internal teams, external parties, and financial institutions to reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and facilitate the smooth settlement of transactions.

  • Analyze data, identify errors or discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to maintain financial integrity and compliance.

  • Preparing weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly operating reports to present to senior management and provision of recommendations for improvements based on trends.

  • Overseeing processing of payables including vendor payments

  • Liaise with parties (banks and processors) to ensure optimal cost structures and verify daily settlements

  • Provide ad hoc financial reporting, other duties and project work as required.


Qualifications



  • Candidates should possess B.Sc Degrees in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or a related Business discipline

  • 2 to 3 years+ of experience working with a Commercial Bank, Micro Finance Bank or Fintech.

  • Experience in managing and analyzing high volumes of data to recognize, understand and assist in solving problems.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and IT savvy.

  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to read and assess datasets and company financial statements - cash flow + projections.

  • High Level skills especially in Excel, Accounting and PowerPoint

  • Self-starter with the desire to contribute from day one to supporting Beyond Credit Limited in providing premier financial services.

  • Good written, presentation and communication skills, able to prepare statistical and narrative reports.

  • Able to work under broad direction but self-motivated to work independently. Has technical responsibility and accountable for work performed and decision taken.

  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate and manage relationship at all levels.
