Job Brief

• They are urgently looking for a business oriented and target driven individual to join their team as the Credit Officer.


• Who will be responsible for supporting themonitoring and repayment activities of loans.


• Coordinate, supervise, market loan products and process loan applications for Customers.

Job Description

• Responsible in acquisition and management of loans and savings portfolio; Loan initiation, customer data collection with approved device and channel.


• Support in loan monitoring and repayment activities.


• Support the call centers in managing the relationships with customers and field visits during emergencies.


• Ensure each loan disbursed are in compliance with AKU lending procedures and policies.


• Compile credit files with required documentation and hand over to back-office staff for processing.


• Coordinate, supervise, market loan products and process loan applications for Customers.


• Work with the branch manager to evaluate loan processing to determine customers financial eligibility and feasibility of repayment of loans.


• Determine all applicable ratios and metrics and set up loan payment plans.


• Complete loan contracts and counsel clients on policies and restrictions


• Opening loan applications Conducting loan analysis by visiting the business and household of clients


• Visiting the business /employer of guarantors and preparing a complete loan assessment according to the bank’s credit procedures


• Ensuring punctual repayments of acquired loans from clients, contacting and visiting all parties based on needs.


• Any other responsibilities required by the Branch Manager in line with AKU policies.

Experience & Requirements

• Candidates should possess HND / B.Sc Degrees with 4+ years relevant work experience in Banking/Fintech


• Excellent and strong relationship management experience


• Excellent attention to detail


• Ability to deal with confidential matters and with discretion.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills


• Experienced in repayment tracking and loan collection without a day default.


• Excellent communication, marketing, customer service and interpersonal skill


• Must be willing to relocate/be conversant with Ajjali and its environs.

• Salary: N120,000 - N200,000 Monthly.
