About the Role



  • The Social Media Executive / Content Strategist is responsible for managing the public platforms of clients and developing strategies that actualize brand objectives.


Job Description



  • Develop effective content and digital strategies for existing clients and prospects.

  • Create sharp, memorable, and compelling written pieces that prompt action.

  • Responsible for managing 4 Accounts: 3 Retainer and 1 Project-based account.

  • Collaborate with Videographers and Multimedia Designers to ensure that posts are engaging.

  • Optimize content for publication across various social media sites.

  • Deliver content for client approval in a timely manner and post as required at optimal times.

  • Monitor users' engagement with and feedback on every post.

  • Cover events for social media and participate in briefing sessions with clients and other agencies.

  • Remain abreast of changes to all pertinent social media applications and propose new concepts and approaches for social media management that will align with client goals.

  • Meet and surpass all client expectations through an excellent display of digital mastery and peerless execution of projects.

  • Develop innovative solutions for clients with impactful results that will increase client budgets while delivering excellent results.

  • Explore the potential value of social media sites that are not yet in our repertoire.

  • Work with the internal teams to understand and deliver client project goals (both short and long-term).

  • Build quality proposals with unique insights and consumer behaviour to win new business.

  • Consistently brainstorming and collaborating with the team for new ideas and strategies

  • Deliver insightful consumer, competitive, and market analyses; and develop strategic plans that galvanize our teams.

  • Create and develop commercial opportunities with existing clients maximizing account and revenue growth. Manage client projects ensuring 100% repeat business on all clients' projects.

  • Analyze and report on the effects of publications.

  • Compile third-party and native platform information to build data-driven reports and strategies.

  • Take responsibility for additional tasks assigned to you by the team/agency. Participate in team activities.

  • Complete all training and at least two self-development programmes in a year.

  • Maintain a professional code of conduct and adhere to industry regulatory requirements.


Requirements



  • Minimum of B.Sc Degree in Mass Communication or related discipline

  • Minimum of 2 years cognate experience.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
