Role Overview



  • The sales and marketing officer, is to generate new business opportunities and play a vital role in enhancing the brand's market position through effective business development and brand strategies.


Job Duties/ Responsibilities / Accountabilities



  • Drive increased revenue and profit generation to achieve business growth, by at least 20% annually

  • Work with the sales and marketing lead to develop and implement effective marketing strategies to increase brand visibility, reach and desired market position.

  • Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the unique features and benefits of our gift and stationery items.

  • Utilize innovative techniques to engage customers and drive sales conversion.

  • Implement control systems to monitor and optimize product inventory and sales performance.

  • Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities to identify areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with the existing teams to develop compelling marketing campaigns and promotions.

  • Provide valuable feedback to improve product development and enhance competitive offerings.

  • Contribute to the overall growth and profitability of the company by achieving revenue targets.

  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in marketing and sales.

  • Maintain confidentiality and protect the organization's value by handling sensitive information appropriately.

  • Initiate and maintain business relationships with all vendors (manufacturers, distributors and all middle men).

  • Propose potential business deals and product distribution channels, by researching, contacting potential partners and exploring opportunities.

  • Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements and projected financial earnings/expenditure by, evaluating options and resolving internal priorities, and subsequently make recommendations to the marketing lead.

  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts, and integrating contract requirements with business operations.

  • Manage the relationship with the customer pre and post payment, ensuring goods are delivered promptly


Professional Requirements



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Management, Business Administration or any relevant discipline

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience, in a similar managerial position is required

  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
