  • The Strategic Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies that align with dLocal's goals and enhance its reputation.

  • This role involves managing external relations and overseeing the creation of compelling content across various platforms and for different audiences.

  • This role will play a critical role in shaping and maintaining dLocal's public image and ensuring that communication efforts support its strategic objectives.

  • The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, an effective communicator, and a skilled leader in the field of communications.


What will I be doing?


Corporate Communications Strategy:



  • Develop and implement a strategic communications plan that supports dLocal’s overall commercial objectives and is aligned with key brand narrative.

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of the organization's brand identity and ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels

  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of communication strategies


Media Engagement:



  • Build and maintain Develop and implement crisis communication plans to address potential reputational risks

  • Serve as a key point of contact during crises, ensuring consistent and effective communication


Content development:



  • Create and supervise agencies’ development of compelling content for various platforms, including press releases, articles, social media, and website content, in close collaboration with the marketing team

  • Advise and support senior executives in crafting key messages for internal and external communication

  • Prepare them for media interviews, public speaking engagements, and other communication opportunities


What skills do I need?



  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or equivalent experience

  • Strong media relations experience and ability to handle high-profile interactions

  • Crisis communication experience and the ability to navigate sensitive issues

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with solid understanding of digital communication platforms and trends

  • Familiarity with industry-specific communication challenges and opportunities in the fintech industry.

  • Ability to think strategically and align communication efforts with organizational goals
