Overview



  • As the Travel & Tours Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and strategic direction of our travels & tours subsidiary.

  • You will lead a team dedicated to providing exceptional travel experiences for our clients while ensuring efficiency, profitability, and compliance with industry regulations.


Responsibilities

Strategic Planning:



  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives and drive growth in the travels & tours sector.

  • Identify market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks.


Team Management:



  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of travel agents, tour guides, and administrative staff.

  • Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, encouraging professional development and excellence in customer service.


Operational Oversight:



  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including itinerary planning, booking accommodations, arranging transportation, and managing tour logistics.

  • Ensure all travel arrangements meet quality standards and exceed customer expectations.


Customer Relationship Management:



  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners to enhance the company's reputation and expand its network.

  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally, striving to deliver personalized and memorable experiences.


Financial Management:



  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to monitor performance and optimize profitability.

  • Implement cost-saving measures and revenue-generating strategies to improve the company's financial health.


Compliance and Risk Management:



  • Stay updated on industry regulations, travel advisories, and safety protocols to ensure compliance and mitigate legal and operational risks.

  • Implement policies and procedures to maintain high standards of safety, security, and ethical conduct.


Requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Tourism, or related field.

  • Proven experience in the travel industry, with at least a year in a leadership role.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • In-depth knowledge of travel software, booking systems, and industry trends.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Certification in travel management or tour guiding is a plus.
