Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Backend Development Course Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development, extensive experience with relevant programming languages and frameworks, and a passion for teaching.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging lectures, workshops, and hands-on exercises on backend development topics, including but not limited to:
  
  
  
  • Database management systems
  
  
  • Server-side programming languages (Either Python, Node.js, php )
  
  
  • Web frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django, Express)
  
  
  • API design and implementation
  
  
  • Authentication and authorization systems
  
  
  
  


• Create and update course materials, including slides, code examples, and assignments, to ensure relevance and effectiveness.


• Provide guidance and support to students through office hours, online forums, and one-on-one interactions.


• Assess student progress and performance through assignments, projects, and exams, providing constructive feedback for improvement.


• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in backend development, incorporating relevant updates into course content.


• Collaborate with other instructors and staff to continuously improve the curriculum and learning experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).


• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in backend development, with a proven track record of successful projects.


• Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (e.g., Python, PHP, Node.js) and associated frameworks.


• Strong understanding of database management systems, RESTful APIs, and other backend technologies.


• Prior teaching or mentoring experience is highly desirable.


• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.


• Enthusiasm for learning and teaching, with a genuine desire to help others succeed in their career goals.
