Job Summary:


Join our dynamic IT startup company as a Finance & Accounts Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business growth and profitability.


Responsibilities:



  • Financial Planning and Analysis:

    • Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support business objectives and drive profitability

    • Prepare and analyze financial statements, forecasts, and budgets, providing insights and recommendations to senior management

    • Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement

    • Provide strategic financial guidance and support to department heads and senior management



  • Financial Reporting and Compliance:

    • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other financial reports

    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including tax filings, financial reporting standards, and other statutory requirements

    • Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data

    • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed



  • Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable:

    • Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, including invoicing, billing, collections, and payments

    • Monitor cash flow and working capital, optimizing cash management strategies to support business operations

    • Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other stakeholders



  • Budgeting and Forecasting:

    • Develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts in collaboration with department heads and senior management

    • Monitor budget variances, identifying areas of over or under-performance, and recommending corrective actions as needed

    • Provide financial analysis and support for business development initiatives, including pricing strategies, cost analysis, and investment decisions




Requirements:



  • Proven experience as a Finance & Accounts Manager or similar role, preferably in the IT or technology industry

  • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements

  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling

  • Experience with financial reporting systems and software, including ERP systems and Microsoft Excel

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; ICAN certification is a plus


Preferred:



  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment

  • Familiarity with venture capital financing, equity fundraising, and startup valuation methods

  • Knowledge of tax planning and compliance
