Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Finance Manager to join our team. As the Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in budget planning, financial management, and providing strategic insights to support the company's growth and decision-making.
Roles and Responsibilities
Financial Record Coordination:
- Coordinate and review financial records from the company's/project accountants.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data for analysis and reporting purposes.
Subscriber Finance Recovery:
- Ensure timely recovery of the company's finances from our subscribers, in alignment with pre-agreed payment plans as stated in our purchase agreements.
- Monitor payment schedules and proactively address any collection issues.
Financial Guidance and Advice:
- Provide financial guidance and advice to the Managing Director, aligning with the company's goals and objectives for sustainable growth.
- Offer insights and recommendations on financial strategies and opportunities.
Finance:
Management Initiatives:
- Work closely with the Managing Director to implement finance management initiatives for the company and its projects.
- Contribute to the development and execution of financial strategies to optimize financial performance.
Marketing Support:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the company's projects, gaining firsthand experience of the financial priorities for the company at any given time.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support marketing strategies and decision-making.
Tax and Compliance Management:
- Manage the company's books advantageously for VAT, WHT (Withholding Tax), and PAYE (Pay As You Earn) payments.
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and reporting requirements.
Record and Report Management:
- Manage the company's records and books for stakeholders, shareholders, and management reports.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, providing insights on financial performance and trends.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in finance management, preferably within the real estate and property construction industry.
- Relevant educational qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as ICAN, ANAN, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent, is required.
- Strong knowledge of financial management principles, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, reporting, and strategic decision support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools including excel.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
