Job Summary:


The Finance Director / Deputy CFO will be responsible for leading the financial strategy, management, and reporting functions of the company. This individual will work closely with the executive team to drive financial performance, ensure robust financial controls, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting, experience with one of the Big Four accounting firms, and experience working in reputable multinationals, particularly in the telecoms, manufacturing, or Oil & Energy sectors.


Job Responsibilities:



  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s objectives and growth.

  • Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.

  • Lead the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.

  • Manage internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

  • Implement and maintain effective financial controls and risk management processes.

  • Oversee cash flow management, debt financing, and liquidity management.

  • Identify and mitigate financial risks to the organization.

  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

  • Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.

  • Act as a key point of contact for external stakeholders, including auditors, investors, and regulatory bodies.

  • Provide financial insights and reports to the executive team and board of directors.


Qualifications & Skills:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.

  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is highly desirable.

  • Extensive experience in financial accounting and management, with a background in one of the Big Four accounting firms.

  • Proven track record in a senior financial leadership role within reputable multinationals, particularly in telecoms, manufacturing, or Oil & Energy sectors.

  • Strong analytical, strategic planning, and financial management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.

  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership and development.
