Responsibilities:

• Data Entry: Make error-free entries into the accounting system, ensuring data integrity, accuracy and ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded following double-entry accounting principles


• Monthly Closings: Assist in the monthly financial closing process by preparing various journal entries and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timeliness.


• Financial Analysis: Perform regular financial analyses to help identify trends and provide actionable insights.


• Supporting Schedules: Create and maintain detailed schedules supporting financial statement line items.


• Bank Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions match bank records, identifying and resolving discrepancies.


• IFRS Compliance: Apply International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) principles in financial recording.


• Expense Tracking: Monitor and analyze expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis.


• Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive financial records and supporting documentation.


• Reporting: Prepare regular reports as directed by the finance manager

Technical & Professional Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.


• 3 - 4 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles


• Understanding of local tax laws and regulations


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use formulas and pivot tables


• Proficient in using accounting software (preferably Microsoft Dynamics)


• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data


• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in handling financial data


• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Strong ethical standards and integrity
