We are currently seeking a detail-oriented professional with a strong analytical mind to join our team as a Finance Coordinator for our farm in Kaduna, Nigeria.



  • As a Finance Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial activities related to our farm and plant operations in Kaduna, Nigeria.

  • You will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with local regulations, and provide valuable insights to support decision-making.

  • The ideal candidate should possess a strong proficiency in financial management, excellent attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices within the manufacturing industry.

  • You should have a keen eye for detail, be highly organized, and have excellent problem-solving skills.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Professional certification such as ACA, ICAN is highly desirable.

  • Minimum 5 years experience as an Accountant or Finance Officer, preferably in a manufacturing company.

  • Proficiency in using accounting software, ERP systems and MS


RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities for the farm and plant in compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.

  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.

  • Coordinate the annual budgeting and forecasting process.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate inventory management and valuation, considering local tax and regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.

  • Coordinate the preparation of financial reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial metrics relevant to the business.
