Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 Years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within the fintech industry. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing our financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving strategic financial initiatives.

Role Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing


• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records, reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies as needed


• Oversee cash flow management, optimizing liquidity and supporting working capital needs


• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS)


• Monitor budget vs. actual performance, analyzing variances and identifying opportunities for cost optimization or revenue enhancement


• Development of financial models and scenario analysis to support decision-making and long-term planning


• Conduct financial analysis to assess the financial viability of new products, initiatives, or business opportunities.


• Evaluate investment proposals, performing cost-benefit analysis and ROI calculations to support investment decisions.


• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency


• Assess financial risks and internal controls, implementing measures to mitigate risks and strengthen financial governance

Compulsory Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.


• 8-10 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably within the fintech industry or related sectors.


• Solid understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.


• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.

Pay: ₦400,000.00 - ₦600,000.00 per month
