Overall Job Summary
Your principal responsibility will be to prepare financial reports and interpret financial information for the management and assist to maintain the financial health of the organisation. You will more broadly be expected to work in a collegiate manner to promote the success of the Company, and as such your tasks may from time to time extend beyond those defined in this job description. You will be reporting to the CEO.
Finance Manager Duties and Responsibility
- Analyse costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
- Develop trends and projections for the Company’s finances.
- Support to conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities. Supervision and Management of Finance Officers.
- Assist to prepare the company’s budget.
- Preparation of monthly Management Report
- Liaise with audit/tax consultants and finance regulatory bodies to ensure appropriate monitoring and compliance of company finances is maintained. Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
- Any other finance and tax-related duties
- And any other duties assigned to you in the course of your employment with us.
Key Requirements
- B.SC in Accounts or related field
- ACCA / ACA
- Master’s Degree in Accounts or equivalent an advantage
- Proven experience in finance management
- Five years post qualification experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals
- Proficiency in accounting software

- Confident oral presentation and communication skills to influence, persuade, negotiate, motivate and agree on commitments with colleagues in a high-pressure environment
- Approachable and able to coach and assist colleagues with accounting problems/issues
- Numerate and articulate in handling statistics and interpreting information for communication to all levels within the business
- Flexible, well organised with lots of initiative, energy and personal motivation
- Results-oriented and determined in resolving issues and achieving objectives
- Significant experience in conflict resolution and dealing with sensitive issues
- A keen eye for detail and a desire to probe further into data
- Ability to stick to time constraints.
