Role Description



  • This is a full-time role as a finance manager at Life Helpers Initiative.

  • The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing financial operations, preparing budgets, tracking expenses, conducting financial analysis, and providing financial reports.

  • This is an on-site role located in Sokoto.


Qualifications



  • Strong financial management and accounting skills

  • Experience in budgeting, expense tracking, and financial analysis

  • Proficiency in financial software and systems

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Candidate must possess a solid accountancy training and professional accounting qualification

  • Candidate must have good knowledge of Accounting: Local accounting standards

  • Minimum of 2 years work experience.

  • Previous experience in NGOs is preferable.

  • B Sc/ HND in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Hausa

  • Professional certification (e.g. CPA, CMA) is a plus
