Position Overview
- As a Finance Manager at Healthconnect247, you will be a key member of our financial leadership team, responsible for overseeing and guiding our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Provide comprehensive financial reports with detailed interpretation of financial information to managerial staff.
- Offer insights and recommendations for further courses of action based on financial data analysis
- Ensure financial transparency, accuracy, and adherence to accounting standards.
Investment Advisory:
- Advise on investment activities to maintain the financial health of the organization.
- Develop and communicate investment strategies aligned with the company's financial goals and risk tolerance.
- Monitor investments, assess risks, and make recommendations for optimizing returns.
Performance Analysis:
- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company’s actual performance compared to business plans.
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress toward financial and operational goals.
- Implement strategies to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Financial Planning and Forecasting:
- Develop financial trends and projections to guide the firm's strategic decisions.
- Conduct regular reviews and evaluations to identify cost-reduction opportunities.
- Collaborate with other departments to align budget control and financial planning with organizational objectives.
Budget Management:
- Manage the preparation of the company’s budget.
- Ensure budgetary compliance, monitor variances, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop budgetary allocations and controls.
Departmental Oversight:
- Oversee the operations of the finance department.
- Set financial goals and objectives for the finance team.
- Design and implement a framework to ensure that financial goals are met.
Audit and Compliance:
- Liaise with auditors and consultants to ensure the appropriate monitoring of company finances.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, standards, and internal policies.
- Address any audit findings and implement corrective measures.
Interdepartmental Collaboration:
- Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, particularly in areas of budget control and financial planning.
- Ensure that the company's financial strategy is aligned with its broader goals.
Key Performance Indicators
- Achieve a 10% increase in the company's overall financial health score within the fiscal year by implementing cost-saving measures, optimizing cash flow, and improving investment strategies.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. An MBA or advanced degree in finance is preferred.
- 7 - 10 years of progressive financial management experience, with a proven track record of leadership and financial expertise.
- Problem-solving, and Communication skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
- Knowledge of industry best practices. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification is highly desirable.
