Supervises: Production Assistant & Attendants

Job Objective/Purpose of Job:

The Assistant Cosmetics Formulator is responsible for assisting in the development, formulation, and testing of skincare products produced 

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

Formulation and Research Support

Production Support

• Assist in the production of signature spa-grade products and highly effective problem-solving products.


• Provide skin analysis and consultation services as required.


• Prepare regular reports on expenses and production budgets.


• Maintain and update company databases.


• Coordinate production assistants and other junior staff efficiently.


• Assist the production assistant with the procurement of necessary ingredients needed for production and vendor management.


• Ensure sanitary manufacturing conditions during production processes to avoid contaminations or mistakes.


• Be actively involved in quality control of mass production.


• Carry out all other production tasks as instructed by the production manager.

Education/Professional Qualification:

• BA or BSC in Microbiology or a related discipline.


• Relevant postgraduate and/or professional qualification would be an added advantage.

Any professional qualification.

Experience:

• Must possess 2-3 years of work experience with solid knowledge of office procedures.


• Experience with producing skin products for brands.
